The Churches in Germany were a treat wherever we went. Although religion is not as prevalent as it is in America, the taxes of the people ensure that they are the grandest and beautiful things you will ever see. I made sure in every city that I visited that I would see the churches within them. Every church was spectacular, each in their individual way. The Churches in Saarbrucken had the most amazing white interiors. The inside provided an experience of almost being on a cloud in heaven with the softness of the white wood and the majestic organ ascending upward ever so gracefully. Trier was even better. Their alter was unbelievable. They designed it so that when you walked up it appeared you were peeking into the gates of heaven; I honestly had never seen anything like it. Each of these churches and the ones I didn’t mention had something unique about them which I loved. In other countries, I have been too there was a very distinct style in which churches were made. Here though, because of all the various influences in Germany, it appeared that not one church was anything like anther. Thus, making every visit to each church a new encounter. If one is ever visiting Germany, you must make it a part of your trip to visit all the religious buildings wherever you go. I promise you won't regret it.
